Princess Plum

A request for my good friend kirby65422. Princess Plum is his Cuphead OC and her boss level is called "Holiday Havoc".

"Every night before Christmas each year in an old abandoned workshop filled with many toys, the toys inside would come alive for one night on Christmas Eve before the sun rose. The ballerinas would dance gracefully and the jack-in-boxes would tell jokes and puns to everybody. The soldiers would march valiantly across the floor and the dolls would gossip with each other. But there was one toy who envied humans and how they were not forced to obey a curse that affected every toy in this household; a little fairy doll by the name of Princess Plum. She would fly out of the house and visit the humans sleeping and view some of the family photos. They smiled. They played with each other. They married each other. They had kids. Princess Plum secretly wanted to be real. But that was not to be each night as she sadly resigned to her fate as an adventurous little girl trapped within a mostly lifeless doll's body. But then, one night, a figure came upon the workshop. Having never seen a figure of such size, the toys ran about to hide. But only tiny Princess Plum did not run as she had heard of this figure. She recognized this figure as the Devil and she had also read about tales about how he would make all of your wildest dreams come true. "I know of your plight, cutie-pie. You just want to be real, right?" The doll nodded as she added "I want to be free of this curse that affects all of us toys. I want to experience the outside world for more than one night." The Devil smiled as he handed the tiny doll a wand along with a contract. "Just sign here and that dream will come true." The Devil gave a toothy grin as Princess Plum read the deal and quickly signed it. "Now, that wand will cast whatever you want, alright? Return the contract to me within a week." She took one flick of the wand and in a matter of seconds, she felt.... different. Not only did everything seem smaller to her, but she actually felt alive! Next morning, the fairy ventured out into the outside world to find a lot happening around her. Cars driving along the roads, people chatting with each other.... It was perfect. Then, she took a whiff of something and followed the smell to find it coming from a place filled with delicious pastries. Trying one for the first time, her eyes watered up with happiness. So much was happening and she loved it! But alas, as the time came, the fairy remembered the deal she had made with the Devil. But she wanted to be free of a curse that had binded her from the outside world and she was not going to let a hairy demon like him take that freedom away. She attacked the Devil with everything she had as the Devil came to collect her soul. The Devil cursed as he retreated as soon as he figured the fairy was not going to let him take the soul without a fight. Princess Plum laughed at the Devil's extent as he vowed to have the fairy's soul one day. But soon, as two cups came along, the demon's words would come back to haunt her."
