Cuphead is a 2017 run-and-gun platforming boss-rush video game. The game is styled after 1930s rubber-hose animation and stars Cuphead and Mugman, two twin brothers with teacups for heads living on Inkwell Island. After losing a bet in the Devil's casino, the Devil and his lackey King dice make a deal with them: collect the "soul contracts" that signify the Devil's ownership of the souls of his runaway debtors by midnight the next day, and he might let them keep theirs. Cuphead and his brother Mugman now fight through several levels that culminate in creative and quirky yet brutal boss fights as to repay their debt to the devil. Bendy and the Ink Machine is a 2017 horror game themed around 1930s golden age animation. The game follows Henry Stein, a retired animator who returns to his old animation studio Joey Drew Studios from the 1930s after an invitation from his old employer Joey Drew, and discovers a nightmare of cartoon characters seemingly brought to life by the titular Ink Machine. Now he has to explore the mysterious and dark animation studio, fighting off the demonic living cartoons in order to escape. Cuphead created by: Chad and Jared Moldenhauer.
